Who we are
From immediate support to lasting transformation.
Mlamzala Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Foundation exists to improve the lives of vulnerable people through compassion, community support, humanitarian assistance, economic empowerment and sustainable development initiatives.
Our work responds to both immediate and long-term challenges. While humanitarian assistance can provide vital support during difficult moments, sustainable transformation also requires access to education, healthcare, skills, entrepreneurship, opportunities and stronger community systems.
We therefore combine practical humanitarian response with initiatives that help individuals, families and communities strengthen their capacity, improve livelihoods and become more socially and economically resilient.
Collaboration and community participation remain central to our work. Communities should not simply receive solutions; they should help identify priorities, shape interventions and contribute to evaluating the results.
